Laser Dentistry
Dr. Griffin uses different types of lasers to remove your cavities without the use of shots or drills.

Lasers are helping to make dental procedures faster, easier, and less painful than ever before. Dental procedures that use the laser do not usually require shots or anesthesia. Dr. Griffin uses the DELight Dental Laser System, which is both safe and effective, to remove cavities and tooth decay. The laser is precise and usually painless. One of the most widely beneficial innovations in the field, laser dentistry offers patients impressive results and greater comfort.

BriteSmile Teeth Whitening®
Dr. Griffin's is one of the most experienced BriteSmile offices, because it was the very first!

Designed by NASA scientists, BriteSmile harnesses technology to yield unprecedented results. The BriteSmile procedure offers dramatic effects -- teeth can be whitened an average of 9+ shades -- in about an hour. Safe and generally painless, BriteSmile whitening typically lasts two to three years. Dr. Griffin's office was the first to employ this cutting-edge whitening procedure, making him among the most experienced and trusted dentists licensed to perform the procedure.

Digital Makeovers
Dr. Griffin uses computer technology to show you a picture of the smile that you can achieve.

The most satisfying dental results are usually attained through careful planning. Dr. Griffin helps his patients envision the difference a specific procedure will accomplish before any work is actually done. Digital makeovers are a fun and effective means of using technology to communicate information and address questions early on.

CEREC®
The first office in Kentucky to employ the technology, Dr. Griffin uses CEREC to create natural-colored restorations.

Dr. Griffin uses CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) to repair damaged teeth with a durable ceramic material that matches natural tooth color. The procedure can be done in about an hour -- no additional visits are required. In CEREC the damaged tooth is first photographed and then computer technology helps to design the restoration. The new restoration is then created out of ceramic (using a high-speed diamond bur and a disk) before it is bonded to the tooth. CEREC technology can be used for partial and full crowns, for veneers, and for other single-tooth restorations.
